The North Syosset - Woodbury Republican Club is a leading political and civic organization in the Syosset and Woodbury Communities, encompassing the areas of North Syosset, North Woodbury, Village of Laurel Hollow, and parts of the Villages of Oyster Bay Cove and Muttontown. We hold regular meetings every last Wednesday of each month from September through May at 7:00 p.m. at the Woodlands, at the TOB Golf Course in Woodbury (unless another location is advertised and/or there is a specific event being held by the Club). Meetings are conducted primarily as social affairs featuring refreshments and a chance to see and talk to our neighbors in the community. There is a guest speaker at each meeting (unless it is a special event), who is usually a member of the local community to speak about a topic of local or general concern.

The club year begins in April, at which meeting the President, Officers, Chairman and Board of Directors are installed. There are several other volunteer positions on various Committees which are important to carrying out the Club's goals. There is a monthly Club publication called the EagleTalk Newsletter mailed to all members of the club informing them of upcoming events and meetings, and includes messges from the Executive Leader and Club President.

The Club has annual activities in addition to regularly held meetings, some of which are held on the date of regular club meetings. These annual events include: the Club's annual Pasta & Politics Dinner held in October, whereby local candidates running in the year's election visit our club and speak to the members, the annual Holiday Party held in early December in lieu of a regular club meeting at the end of the month, the Club's big fundraiser event, Lincoln Day Dinner, usually held in February at the Fox Hollow Inn in Woodbury, the Installation of the Club President, Officers, Chairman and Board of Directors, held in April, and the Club's second big fundraiser, the Golf Outing, held the last week in July, usually at the Brookville Country Club in Upper Brookville.
